3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.First of all upon reading other reviews there are few 7424XP offered with the 5" backing plate.First impression: Porter Cable Polisher is exceptional, enough power/ speed to make polishing etc. a surprising easy task. A must own!Only suggestion is the package comes with a single polishing, and finishing pad - do yourself a favor and purchase a buffing pad, a another polish pad if you have deep swirls.

My only problem is that the "swirl remover" came in a damaged bottle... Seems the bottle fell and developed a small crack, thus causing some of the product to leak out.
