12 of 12 people found the following review helpful.If you are an intermediate car enthusiast, I would recommend this kit. It is very competitively priced. The price would be over $100 if each item is purchased individually. If you enjoy cleaning and detailing your car, this is the kit for you. Includes pretty much everything you need besides the bucket. The kit could use some glass cleaner, tire spray, and wheel cleaner to be considered a complete kit, but for the price, this is definitely worth it. Note when I say I would recommend this for the intermediate car enthusiast though. If you spend 30minutes to an hour washing your car then I would suggest a simple car wash product you find at a local store which would cost less than this kit. Also if you are the serious detailer, there are obviously higher standard quality products. Meguiares themselves have a higher professional lineup that are designed more for use with electric tools such as dual action polishers. However if you have a car you care about and would like to spend a bit more than an hour washing your car by hand, this is the kit to get. Have been using Meguiares products for years and am happy.

The products themselves are excellent, definitely earning the title of Ultimate. Over the weekend, I did my first detail on my 2006 Nissan Frontier and I found the products a pleasure to use. I've never detailed a vehicle before nor has my Frontier been detailed in 6 years, but I achieved great results with this kit and the Porter-Cable 7424XP 6-Inch Variable-Speed Polisher that I picked up here.Pros:+ Includes most of what you need to get started+ Excellent products from Meguiar's+ Wax, Compound, Polish are easy on (I was using a DA, though), easy off with a microfiber+ Unexpectedly, the chemicals have a good smellCons:- Black towel and foam pad depicted in the product photo are not included in the kitThings I would like added (I'm not counting these as cons because they're not part of the Ultimate line):* As stated in another review, a clay bar such as Meguiar's Smooth Surface Clay Kit would make this a better kit* No tire shine spray, I recommend Meguiar's Endurance Tire Dressing (Trigger) - 24 oz.

Otherwise, this package has everything you'll need to make your car clean and shine all year long! best thing about it is the price!! saves you at least $30 if u were to buy every product individually.I'd recommend to everyone.
