It comes in a box with a plastic shrink seal around the valve and outlet.With my first use, I replaced an air conditioning compressor, vacuumed the system, and filled the system with this tank. The air conditioner blows 40-degrees at the vents. That took 1.5 pounds of refrigerant; so, I still have 28.5 pounds for recharging and repairing other cars.I recommend getting this if you have a few A/Cs to work on. It's much less expensive in the long run. You should also get a scale to weigh it as you fill a system.
