10 of 11 people found the following review helpful.This is simply the best DA polisher out there, I've used the Meguiars G110v2 and the Porter Cable 7424 but the ergonomics and overall design is what makes it very comfortable to use for long periods. It is a little quieter than the others too and that's a plus. This redesign is a great move in the right direction, adding the rubberized head to hold on to and the power /speed switches up top is great too.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful.I have used my a porter Cable for the past year and the more I used it the more I found myself needing more power and I found it with Griots DA, it has twice the power so it cuts my work time drastically but more important I'm seeing much better results.You'll be surprised at how strong this unit is but no chance in burning your paint, it's safe.It's also smoother to operate, much of a difference.The first thing I noticed about the GG DA was how well it fits in your hands and how well balance the DA is.This is the perfect DA folks.The Porter Cable XP doesn't stand a chance with this bad boy:)
3 of 3 people found the following review helpful.Finally broke down and bought a DA polisher. Settled on the Griot's after much on line research. So far I have not been disappointed. Have used it to do over have the 5th wheel trailer with good results. Also have used on the 13 year old truck with good results. Works as advertised. No complaints so far.
