1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.I purchased the Palmgren 8" buffer because I was wearing out the chuck on my lathe buffing stainless steel trim. I was a little concerned since it only had one review, but that one spoke pretty highly of the buffer. I found the review to be right on the money. The tool came quickly, and set up with no fuss. I purchased the matching stand because of the reviews also. The tool is powerful and really quiet. There is next to no vibration either. The only thing that keeps this from being a perfect tool is the quality of the rough buff wheel. As soon as you put a piece of metal to the wheel, it looks like a snow storm around you with little threads flying off. Even with that, you should not be disappointed with the quality of the tool.

1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.I am very pleased with the Palmgren buffer motor. It operates smooth and quite. The complete process from purchase to delivery went perfectly. i was especially appreciative with the quick shipping and added buffer whells that came included with the motor. i did a geat deal of research before purchasing and could not be more with my purchase.

0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.I am trying to be charitable here and assume the unit I got was just a lemon, but I'm not so sure. Everything was balanced and secure, this thing practically vibrated the walls off my garage. I didn't feel safe using it and sure enough, it started to fall apart after only literally minutes of attempted use. I packed it back up and sent it back with no problems and did what I should have done in the first place, I got a $600 Baldor that works like a champ, so smooth you hardly know its on and very powerful, built to last a life time.Has the same specs as this one, only it works flawlessly and I don't feel in the least bit unsafe working with it. As I said, maybe I got a lemon, it happens ... Maybe yours will perform just fine, but if you don't like gambling and want the best you are not going to get it for no where near this price unless you get a Baldor on craigslist, my advice is to forget about this one, pony up the extra $$ and make this the last buffer you'll ever want or need.
