0 of 0 people found the following review helpful.I ordered the 5 gallon bucket of Universal Protectant from 3D and the product itself is pretty good. It's a very thick dressing that cannot be sprayed on as a mist and it must be applied with an applicator. It does produce a nice high gloss shine if this is what you want or you can really wipe it into the tire for less gloss or shine. It's a decent product that I would use for certain vehicles but there are other problems.The negatives for the product are that when applying it to tires with heavy ridges around the tread like you find on pickups, you have to wipe it into each crevice for complete coverage. If the stuff wasn't so thick you could simply spray it around the tread to get even coverage. The product does sling onto the fenders if you don't wipe it in really well or let it soak in naturally. The things that I just mentioned are not too bad because I can work around these items but the biggest problem is the shipping. I paid more than $30 for shipping and it took more than a week to arrive. Some companies offer free shipping if you buy a certain amount of product (eg. $150). Simce shipping equates to money spent, find a compnay that offers a good products with fair shipping costs.
