1 of 1 people found the following review helpful.After the second windshield went in my FJ Cruiser, the glass guy commented on how many rock chips the front of these vehicles get. My FJ is only a year old, so I am still at that stage where I would throw myself between it and an oncoming rock if I could. Anyway, he suggested this product as he has used it.First: the order arrived pretty quickly. The clay bar was missing however, so I couldn't use it...which was ok because it was too cold anyway. I emailed the seller directly through Amazon and the response was great. They emailed back within hours and within a day or so, the missing piece arrived. Thumbs up on the seller.Second: this can't be applied in the cold, which was a bummer for me to have to wait because it was the damn sand and salt from the God Forsaken winter that was giving me battered windshields and anxiety worrying about paint chips. You have to apply this inside, out of the wind and in the warmth.Finally: Application was easier than I expected. Be near an outlet as you'll need a blow dryer. It takes a little work, rubbing with the clay bar and making sure you get a wrinkle-free outcome.Once it was on i could barely see the product. And I obsess over my truck (as maybe you picked up) so not being obvious is a huge bonus! It just ads a super thin layer to help protect the flat-front rock chip zones.I recommend it. One or two chips avoided and it is well worth the money. I wish they had one for windshields!
